Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo, which is located in the heart of Monaco, has announced the addition of a new ‘Just For You’ experience, which will take its portfolio of carefully curated activities for guests to nine. The new experience is called ‘Drive Through Time’ and centres around a one-of-a-kind visit to H.S.H. The Prince of Monaco’s car collection.

Focused on offering guests unique access to some of Monaco and the French Riviera’s hidden gems, Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo has nine exclusive experiences on offer this year.

The experiences range from cooking classes for children, led by the hotel’s pastry chef, to a romantic itinerary that James Bond would be proud of; there’ll be pretty much something for everyone to enjoy.

Drive Through Time

New for 2024, ‘Drive Through Time’ is a rare opportunity for car enthusiasts and history buffs to experience the remarkable collection of more than 100 vehicles curated by Prince Albert II and his father, Prince Rainier III.

Guests will be able to explore the collection, which includes Formula 1 cars as well as iconic models such as the Chrysler Imperial and the Rolls Phantom, while it is closed to the public.

The tour will be led by a dedicated guide, who will share captivating stories and open up certain cars to reveal never-before-seen details. The experience offers a unique perspective on the history of Monaco, with the cars interspersed with private videos and photos of the Grimaldi family.

Starting from 950 euros for two adults and 100 euros per child under 12 years old.

From Metropole with Love

Perfect for couples, ‘From Metropole with Love’ offers loved-up guests the opportunity to experience the best of Monaco and the hotel in a James Bond-style experience that will leave everlasting memories.

The day begins with a private visit to the Monte-Carlo Casino, followed by a helicopter ride over Monaco, before dining at Yoshi, the hotel’s Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant, for lunch.

Later, guests will be treated to a couples massage at Spa Metropole by Givenchy, where they will have exclusive access to the double cabin and its hot tub.

As the evening draws in, guests will enjoy a candlelit dinner at Les Ambassadeurs by Christophe Cussac – the hotel’s new gastronomic restaurant – and may choose to take part in a cigar tasting at the bar, accompanied by James Bond’s famous ‘shaken, not stirred’ Martini.

A dedicated member of the hotel’s team will be at the guests’ service all day and present them with tokens for the casino after dinner. Upon their return, Champagne and rose petals await in the room.

Starting from 3700 euros.

Following the Footsteps of Grace Kelly

For guests wishing to step back in time and trace the life of a legendary figure, ‘Following the Footsteps of Grace Kelly’ is the perfect choice.

The experience takes guests on a guided tour throughout the Principality, exploring the most symbolic locations marked by the Princess’ presence and taking them to the heart of her history. These include La Roseraie, Monaco Cathedral, the Princess Grace Foundation, and the famous Irish Library, among other iconic locations.

Starting from 800 euros.

An Evening at the Museum

‘An Evening at the Museum’ offers an unforgettable opportunity to explore the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco with a private tour exclusive to Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo guests.

An entirely different perspective of the museum is seen when discovering it at night, with hidden corners revealed, brought to life by the simple magic of a flashlight.

The experience ends back at the hotel, where guests will be presented with a special cocktail that has been prepared by the team to be enjoyed facing the sea under a starry sky.

Starting from 2400 euros for one to four people.

Discovering the Principality

Enjoy a walking tour of Monaco with the ‘Discovery the Principality’ experience. Led by a professional local guide, guests will explore authentic locations and various neighbourhoods across the Principality.

The tour includes a private visit to the Prince’s Palace of Monaco, which takes place after hours. Guests will have the opportunity to discover the grand apartments, the Italian arcade gallery, and the Throne Room, where all grand events have been hosted since the 16th Century.

Starting from 1135 euros for one to four people.

Journey into Bacon’s World

The only foundation in the world dedicated to Francis Bacon opens its doors to guests from the hotel for an exclusive private visit. ‘Journey into Bacon’s World’ invites guests to discover the artist’s rare creations, with an exhibition dedicated to his career as a furniture and carpet designer, as well as an insight into his first paintings.

The tour is led by a certified guide, who will offer guests a completely new perspective of Bacon’s work. The day concludes with guests being gifted a book entitled ‘Francis Bacon MB Art Foundation’ to remind them of their experience.

Starting from 280 euros for one to four people.

Little Chefs “Green”

Exclusively for children, ‘Little Chefs Green’ offers young guests the chance to produce delicacies in the Odyssey kitchen alongside Pastry Chef Patrick Mesiano. This experience is designed for guests aged six to 12 and allows children to discover pastry-making and zero-waste cooking.

Each month, a different seasonal fruit is chosen to be the focus of the cooking class. The children will learn five key facts about the fruit and how to cook with it without generating any waste. At the end of the two-hour session, children will leave with their creations, which they will be able to proudly share with their families.

Starting from 250 euros per child.

Discover the Mystery of Berluti “Savoir-Faire”

In the 1980s, Olga Berluti developed the Patina on leather, which was revolutionary during a time when all men’s shoes were either black or brown. With the ‘Discover the Mystery of Berluti Savoir-Faire’ experience, guests will discover the Art of Patina during a Patina lesson in the boutique.

The Berluti team will be on-hand throughout the experience to reveal the secrets of Patina, and, depending on availability, guests can have the opportunity to meet with a Master Shoemaker or Master Tailor from the House’s Parisian workshops.

This experience is complimentary and subject to availability.

Just For Your Dog

Just For You experiences aren’t exclusive to humans, as dogs are welcome at the hotel, too. ‘Just For Your Dog’ will ensure that guests’ four-legged best friends are well looked after throughout their stay. On arrival, dogs are given a cosy bed, food and water bowls, and treats.

The real pampering begins in the hotel’s partner salon, ‘For Pets Only’. At this exclusive Spa, guests can choose from a selection of relaxing treatments, such as ozone therapy, natural clay, an aromatic salt bath, or simple grooming, for their dogs to enjoy.

Following this, a session with a professional photographer will take place as a special and everlasting memory of their visit to the hotel.

Dog walkers and dog sitters are available at an extra cost to allow guests to fully relax during their stay. However, dogs are welcome to join their owners for lunch or dinner in the Lobby Bar Restaurant. Alternatively, should guests wish to request specially prepared food for their dogs, the team at Hotel Metropole are on hand to prepare dishes that can then be served in the room.

Starting from 550 euros.
