One of Britains great lifestyle brands, Laura Ashley has opened the doors to its first luxury boutique hotel marking sixty years of the company’s design heritage.

The property is located within the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside and was formerly known as the Edgwarebury Hotel. Laura Ashley Ltd purchased the property in 2012 which stands in 10 acres of gardens and woodlands with views over central london.

Back in the 1930’s the property was used as a private country club and remained this way through to the 1960s before becoming a hotel. A stand out feature of the property is that it retains many original and unique features including a front door that was originally part of the dungeons in Lewes Castle, an ornate fireplace with Italian carved columns and some of the wood in the property is said to have come from ships involved in the battle of the Spanish Armada.

Laura Ashley The Manor, Elstree encompasses 49 elegant rooms and suites each individually designed using the current Laura Ashley Home collections, providing the perfect showcase for the brand’s prints and quality products.

Laura Ashley The Manor is an impressive Tudor revival property, situated within close proximity to Central London. It stands on the site of an old house dating back to 1540 and is surrounded by natural woodland with landscaped gardens featuring classic English blooms. The Manor is the perfect venue for a number of functions such as business conferences, weddings and special occasions.
