To celebrate its 75th anniversary, Ray-Ban has issued a very special limited edition of its iconic model, the Aviator Folding Ultra in a 22 carat gold plated folding version.

Available in yellow gold and white gold versions, there are only 7,500 pairs available worldwide, each with their own serial number.

The Ray-Ban Aviator Folding Ultra is the newest edition to the Aviator family, an icon of style and design, having been worn by movie stars from Steve McQueen to George Clooney. With the introduction of its P3 Plus lenses, Ray-Ban again sets the benchmark for the latest innovation and state-of-the-art technological research involved in protecting the eyes from the harmful effects of the sun’s rays.

The polarising filter, colour enhancement anti-reflective coating and water-repellent  system are special features incorporated into the Aviator Folding Ultra. The colour enhancement feature of the lense enables images to be clearer and sharper to the naked eye. The anti-reflecting coating reduces the percentage of light reaching the eye, whilst the water-repellent feature found in the P3 Plus lenses allows water to run off the surface easier.

The newly launched Aviator Folding Ultra also incorporates a folding feature, the first folding model in Ray-Ban’s Aviator family. This allows the Aviator to bend while maintaining its shape. The eight-hinges on the Aviator Folding Ultra allows it to be folded at the temple earpieces, along the temple and the bridge.

Offer in two sizes, (55 and 58) as well as with temple earpieces and a leather case, it also comes in a variety of colours.
