Yesterday Christoph Steindorfer, CEO of Wedenstein contacted us to tell us about a marvellous limited edition violin project called the Black Goddess.

For several months Wedenstein have kept ths project a secret. Now all can be revealed, it is a stunning limited violin collection, a combination of art and craftsmanship for the exceptional american artist Lindsey Stirling.

For this project Wedenstein got together with the classical string instrument experts of “mezzo-forte germany”, a company that can look back on a rich history of building violins. This cacphony of talents were able to ensure musical quality at the highest level combined with their own manual perfection practices.

The 4-stringed Black Goddess violin represents a pure language of shape for Wedenstein, combined with attention to the very last detail. The minimalist 6-layer carbon fibre corpus is refined with finest gold leaf inlays and a complex nano-sealing. Each of the added parts is handcrafted and thus unique. Even the pins are harmonised perfectly with gold leaf enrichments and equipped with a hidden epicyclic gear. All contained within a high-tech in a elegant casing.

The Black Goddess Violin Collection will be limited to 7 pieces worldwide and built individually for every customer with a waiting period of 8 weeks.
