We’re looking forward to some calmer weather and revelling in the great outdoors. To inspire us, we’re taking a look at the first releases from the Velocio Spring Summer 2020 cycling apparel Collection.
It may feel like we’re still in the depths of winter, but it won’t be long before we’re packing away those base layers and opting for short sleeves and bare legs on the road instead.
To help get you geared up for warmer weather cycling, we’ve taken a look at Velocio’s early release Spring Summer collection.
Colourways include dazzling bright yellows, dark olives and navy, with on-trend patterns and plenty of accessories to match.
As ever, the 2020 collection incorporates fabrics that are built to last and sourced from Italian mills. The collection also demonstrates the brand’s commitment to responsible manufacturing by using even more recycled and natural fabrics.
The SE jersey is based on Velocio’s Signature Jersey but brings in some striking limited edition prints for 2020. The brand chooses its colours and prints way in advance of the season, but somehow, they’re always on-trend when released. The fabric’s upgraded, too, so it’s now made using 100% recycled materials.
The RECON Micromodal Jersey is inspired by gravel riding, so it’s more casual in look and fit than your traditional tight jersey. It features a soft-to-touch fabric that’s incredibly breathable, as well as a zipperless design for a more relaxed style.
There’s still space for your gels, mini pimp and spare tubes, though, thanks to the three Jersey-style pockets on the back.
There’s a waist gripper too, so the jersey stays put when the pockets are full.
Velocio’s Ultralight jersey is also upgraded for 2020. It was one of our favourite pieces from last summer’s collection, thanks to how incredibly light it felt, and now it’s back in some dazzling colours and prints.
The updated fabric features SPF30 sun protection and, like the SE Jersey, is made from recycled fabric.
