As part of Menopause Awareness Month, The Belfry Hotel & Resort in North Warwickshire has launched two new spa treatments designed to help with menopause symptoms and promote overall wellness.

Recognising the significant impact of menopause on women’s physical and emotional health, the specialised treatments will be available permanently at The Belfry Spa in order to alleviate symptoms and re-balance body and mind.

The new treatments are:

  • Relax and Restore – a treatment to nurture your changing body and calm your mind. This beautifully comforting 50-minute treatment is personalised to your needs and stages of menopause. The purest, most gentle formulas smooth and nourish skin while expert massage soothes tight, tender muscles and invokes a blissful relaxation. Priced from £89.
  • Mindful Massage – Soothe away stress and return body and mind to the present moment with this holistic and blissfully re-balancing 80-minute treatment. Unique in every way, guided breathing and visualisation combine with deeply therapeutic massage to release physical and emotional anxieties, relax the mind and restore a positive spirit. Priced from £119, this treatment also includes a free ESPA Restful Bath & Body Oil Worth £36

After their treatment, guests can continue the pampering in The Belfry Spa, which offers a relaxation lounge, swimming pool, sauna, and steam room and the iconic Fire & Ice Experience – a 60-minute relaxation experience through a varied selection of biothermal rooms designed to enhance your mood and invigorate the senses.

For employees at The Belfry, the resort has also launched new policies alongside an employee support toolkit in a bid to raise awareness among staff and to help individuals navigate personal experiences of menopause.

The resort is running a menopause awareness session, which is open to all staff, and has partnered with Bupa to offer personalised menopause treatment and support for a year, enabling staff to discuss symptoms and struggles with a specialised GP.

The Belfry will also be contributing 50% of the costs for contracted employees with over a year of service.

Discounted rates for golf course hire, plus free beginner golf lessons, are also being offered to employees, as well as four free group sessions, in a bid to help kickstart their golfing journeys as regular exercise can help to reduce some of the more common menopausal symptoms, such as weight gain and muscle mass loss, as well as relieving stress.
