Cape of Senses, Lake Garda’s new five-star, adult-only spa hideaway, is all set to open its doors to guests on 8th July 2023.

The resort sits 240 metres above Lake Garda on the east side. It offers spectacular views of the lake and mountains and year-round relaxation and regeneration, encouraging guests to slow down and reconnect with their senses in a tranquil setting.

The family-owned property combines simplistic elegance with a traditional Italian flare. It has 55 spacious suites boasting sophisticated designs and modern details.

Designed by architects and interior designers Hugo Demetz and Alessia Demetz, the aesthetics include floor-to-ceiling glass windows offering stunning Mediterranean views, complimented by soft colour palettes, warm lighting and contemporary furnishings.

Some of the resort’s key features are private pools, jacuzzis, free-standing bathtubs, well-being rooms, sunbathing and lounge areas, rooftop terraces, and gazebos for watching the sunset or sleeping under the stars. Additionally, guests will also have an outdoor, private, heated infinity pool and jacuzzi with full 180-degree views overlooking the lake with a connected indoor pool.

Its 2,000 sqm Senses Spa will offer a holistic spa concept with an extensive range of facilities, including pools, a sauna, a fitness area, treatment rooms and relaxation rooms.

There will be a variety of treatments on offer that use natural, sustainably-sourced products, which have been designed to engage the senses and encourage long-lasting well-being. In-between treatments, guests can enjoy the spa library or take a stroll in the spa garden, including a yoga platform.

Food comes courtesy of two restaurants, where guests can experience both fine dining and locally sourced Mediterranean cuisine at either the lake-view Al Tramonto or traditional Osteria La Pergola restaurants. In addition, they can enjoy breakfast at the rooftop garden or in the comfort of their private suites.

A lounge bar and bistro area will be serving light refreshments, while post dining, guests will be able to take a leisurely walk around the hotel’s gardens, taking in the aromatic scents of the Italian lemons and olive trees.

The lake hideaway has an extensive range of year-round, on-site activities and local experiences bookable through the hotel’s concierge service.

Guests can choose from a private dinner on a lake jetty or vineyard picnic to a private sailing tour or cooking school with locals. Local tours to Verona (25 minutes away), Torri del Benaco, Garda, Venice and Milan will also be available, plus activities including hiking tours, golf, yoga and meditation.

Alina Deutsch, General Manager at Cape of Senses, said, “We are delighted about the imminent opening of Cape of Senses, Lake Garda. With our out-of-this-world views, incredible sunsets and spa hideaway sensory concept, we look forward to welcoming guests for the first time this summer and providing them with a blissful Italian experience.”
