Gane and Marshall’s Incredible Global-Spanning Adventures for 2022

Gane and Marshall's Incredible Global-Spanning Adventures for 2022

The wildlife and adventure specialists Gane and Marshall are ringing in 2022 with a range of thrilling, new itineraries that will allow travellers to spread their wanderlust wings following two years of curtailments.

The past two years have pushed the great outdoors to the forefront of people’s minds, and two areas that have seen a massive resurgence in interest from this are trekking and adventuring. The lure has been so great that even my husband Paul and I began our own hiking forays, heading out on an adventure every weekend, irrespective of the weather.

Although our outings have been limited to the UK’s mountains, we’d like to visit places such as Patagonia at some point in the future. The good news is, you can beat us to it as Gane and Marshall have a fantastic Patagonian adventure, among many others lined up for 2022.

The lockdown has prompted many people to start adventure hikingNatasha Godbold descending one of Yorkshire’s mountains in November 2021.

The world is an enormous place, but knowing the best places to head to that offers a combination of comfort and adventure requires a great deal of expert knowledge, and this is where a company such as Gane and Marshall comes into play. 2021 is the company’s 30th anniversary, and after cutting their teeth in 1991 with specialist Kilimanjaro climbs, they’ve since expanded their portfolio of offerings across the world.

People going on a hike to study the wildlife while on an African Safari

Gane and Marshall pride themselves on delivering off-the-beaten-track travel experiences in safe hands, whether that’s an Africa safari, an Arctic cruise, wildlife watching in Finland or an adventure trek in Nepal. Their range of adventure holidays now encompasses countries such as Africa, Antarctica, Southeast Asia, Japan, China, the Galapagos, India, Costa Rica, Indian Ocean Islands, Canada & more.

The Gane and Marshall team aim to offer something for everyone, whether that’s unwinding under the Sri Lankan sun at a luxury villa resort, exploring Chile’s spectacular coastline on a new expedition cruise from Patagonia, getting a fix of Japanese culture at a hyper-modern hotel in the country’s Mie Prefecture, taking to the skies on a private helicopter excursion during a Tanzania safari or spending Christmas 2022 crossing the Arctic Circle at sea.

To mark the 30th anniversary of Gane and Marshall, their team have taken the opportunity to refresh their commitment to responsible travel. These include a pledge to commit 10 per cent of pre-tax profits to environmental causes, donations to local initiatives, support for local communities, and more.

Let’s take a look at some of the enticing offerings the UK travel specialists have waiting for you for 2022:
