Christmas and New Year Offerings at Pullman KLCC Hotel & Residences

Christmas and New Year are celebrated worldwide from the coldest to the warmest regions of the planet, and one country that is an expert when it comes to celebrations is Malaysia. For this festive feature, Ong Chin Huat is taking a close look at what the Pullman KLCC Hotel & Residences have lined up for the holiday season.

Located in the heart of Malaysia’s capital, the Pullman KLCC Hotel & Residences is celebrating Christmas and ushering in the New Year in spectacular style, starting with their enormous 20-foot Christmas tree illuminated with hundreds of lights and placed in the lobby.

In addition to this, they’ve installed a host of other attractions, including a pink rhino chair and a giant mushroom gingerbread house that doubles up as a shop where one can purchase Christmas treats and gifts.

However, the main attraction for most guests will, of course, be the celebratory Christmas Eve dinner buffet at Sedap Restaurant, which is located in the lobby. The buffest starts on the 24th of December and runs from 6.30 pm till 10.00 pm. On the menu will be a wide and varied selection of European and Asian fare as well as fresh seafood in a specially laid-out iced counter.

According to the hotel’s General Manager Wolfgang Kiesel, this offering is in true Pullman style, with a wonderful line-up of traditional and delicious Christmas and New Year’s delicacies on offer for guests.

Apart from the Christmas Eve Buffet Dinner, Sedap Restaurant is also offering a Christmas Day Lunch Buffet along with a Christmas Day Dinner Buffet, Countdown Dinner Buffet on New Year’s Eve and a New Year’s Day Lunch Buffet. A special Afternoon Tea available now until the 6th of January 2022 is another highlight from Sedap Restaurant, where the hotel’s pastry team plans to serve up some of the most mouth-watering Christmas treats to celebrate the holiday season.

Look out for a Snowman Popsicle and Mont Blanc Chestnut Cake with warm Orange Ginger Scones with Clotted Cream and paired with Butter and Cranberry Jam.

In addition to Sedap Restaurant’s offerings, the hotel’s Chinese restaurant named Red Chinese Cuisine will also offer an eat-all-you-can brunch on Christmas Day and Boxing Day as well as New Year’s Day and Sunday the 2nd of January with a choice of a Dim Sum Brunch or a Fusion Brunch. And after feasting on all that food on New Year’s Eve, you can head over to Blu Bar and Cigars Restaurant for the New Year’s Eve Countdown, where a DJ will be spinning tunes to usher in the brand New Year!
