Smeg Embraces Popular Festive Colour With Its Emerald Green Breakfast Set

Colour is, without a doubt, one of the key considerations when creating our dream kitchen. While some prefer a complete overhaul with a colour block for the most active room in the house, others prefer a pop of colour for an instant refresh. And if you’re looking to add a bright tinge to your kitchen, you may be inspired by home appliance giant Smeg. As we speed our way into the festive season, the brand has just launched its emerald green kettle and toaster breakfast set.

Normally associated with its portfolio of pretty glossy pastels, the Italian appliance brand has identified the growing popularity of the matte finish in recent years.

The emerald green shade joins Smeg’s existing matte black, white and champagne kettles and toasters. The texture provides appliances and household accessories with elegance and character. It’s an understated yet stylish accent to any kitchen space.

Associated with nature, various hues of green are often connected to growth, renewal and harmony. It’s a refreshing colour that allows the busiest hub of the house to feel energised and calm in equal measure. But shades like emerald green also tie up nicely with winter and Christmas, similar to evergreen trees, which remain green the entire winter.

Available in Smeg’s iconic kettle and two-slice toaster, the new products still tap into the brand’s ethos of creating statement products. Boasting Smeg’s unmistakable ’50s, retro-style design’.

The KLF03 kettle and TSF01 toaster feature delicately rounded lines, chrome detailing and stainless-steel accents, combining both the latest technology and style in one curvaceous package.

Beautifully designed with a stainless-steel body, the Smeg KLF03 Kettle has a large capacity of 1.7L (or the equivalent of seven cups). It features a soft opening lid and a 360-degree swivel base with non-slip feet. It automatically shuts off at 100 degrees and has a removable, washable stainless steel limescale filter and concealed heating element to prevent limescale build-up.

Meanwhile, crafted with deep-drawn sheet steel, the TSF01 two-slice toaster includes extra-wide and deep 36mm slots that are perfect for thick-cut artisan breads and bagels. Perfect for those crisp winter mornings. It also features six browning levels, three pre-set functions (defrost, reheat and a bagel setting), and an illuminated dial while in operation.

A touch-release removable stainless-steel crumb tray will help keep the appliance clean, while the built-in cord wrap and anti-slip feet cover health and safety elements.

The latest emerald green shade joins Smeg’s right-hand hinge fridge with an ice box as well as the famous Bean to Cup Coffee machine. The latter is an ideal investment for those who love a tailored coffee experience at home.

From espresso to frothy cappuccinos, the machine will deliver a warming drink at the touch of a button. Whether you drink it at home or on the go is entirely your choice.

So, if you’re looking for that splash of colour for the busiest room in your home to get you in the festive mood, Smeg’s Emerald green colourway is sure to give you the boost you need. Here at Luxurious Magazine headquarters, we are ready for Christmas and totally smitten with this new colourway!
