The Dining Options
There are five restaurants and two bars at St Nicolas Bay, each accompanied by live music. All food served in the hotel is sourced from local suppliers based on seasonal harvesting and its own herb and vegetable garden. They partner exclusively with local companies and farms for their produce.

The hotel hosts a morning visit to the local food market every Wednesday, with an accompanying cooking class. Here, guests can learn to cook famous local dishes of their choice from recipes passed down through generations.

For those looking to explore the local restaurants, bars, shops and cafés, the buzzy little town of Agios Nikolaos is only a 15-minute walk from the hotel along the coastal road.

Family-oriented Offerings
Water sports are available to guests with some of the island’s most experienced instructors, including water skiing, windsurfing, canoeing and jet skiing.

7,000 sqm of nature and huts amongst lemon and olive trees will keep little ones entertained for hours on end. Additionally, the teen club is kitted out with a PlayStation, music bar, video wall, billiards room, table tennis, games room and cinema.

Cultural Excursions and Exploring Crete
St. Nicolas Bay is the perfect base to explore the island on foot, with hiking routes suitable for beginners and experienced hikers. There are beautiful nature trails, breathtaking gorges, and quaint little Cretan villages to discover.

If something less strenuous than hiking is preferred, St. Nicolas Bay can arrange private walking trips to lesser-known trails all over the island of Crete and an eye-opening historical tour of the infamous Spinalonga Island.
