When you think of Kent, the first thing coming to mind for most people is the ‘Garden of England’. However, the county has far more than this under its sleeve. It is also home to Bluewater Cinema, a place where the movie viewing experience reaches a whole new level of luxury.
Bluewater Cinema is located in Greenhithe, Kent and is on a mission to prove to every film fan in the UK that behind its doors is an unmatchable cinema experience. In 2021, the cinema began an extensive refurbishment project and following eight months of meticulous work; the revamped areas are now open for the general public to experience.
The news comes as Showcase Cinemas continues its partnership with Keith Lemon to unveil the new look. Exclusive video content sees lifelong film fanatic Keith enjoy the full Showcase Cinema de Lux Bluewater experience, which he describes as “cinemazing”.
Every seat throughout the cinema’s 17 auditoriums is now a fully customisable recliner, giving film fans the chance to experience blockbusters in ultimate comfort within every screen of the cinema. The site also boasts two supersized, giant XPlus screens, featuring crystal clear laser projection and fully immersive Dolby Atmos sound.
The cinema’s VIP Gallery bar and lounge have also undergone a significant makeover. It is now the perfect place to grab a signature cocktail or something from the full range of wines, beers and spirits and relax before enjoying the latest releases from the plush heated Gallery seats.
