Cuervo y Sobrinos’ New Buceador Caribe Divers’ Watch Collection

Cuervo y Sobrinos' New Buceador Caribe Divers' Watch Collection

In a departure from the classical styling it is best known for, Cuervo Y Sobrinos has unveiled a new collection of contemporary-styled divers’ watches, which go by the name of Buceador Caribe.

Buceador Caribe is a new watch collection from Cuervo Y Sobrinos. These new watches are specifically designed for divers and boast a complex case that gives them impressive water resistance of 200 meters. Another thing that will be of interest is their styling, which is very different from the styling the company is known for, being more contemporary in style and colouring.

The Buceador Caribe range comes in a colour palate new to the brand, including a navy blue combined with deep red inserts and a bright blue that recalls the hues of the Caribbean Sea. Complementing the new colours is a practical rubber strap for diving and an elegant leather calfskin strap for casual use. In addition, there is also the grand metallic “Milanese” bracelet from Staib Germany.

The Milanese bracelet is available on stainless steel models and perfectly matches the watch’s design. The range with black DLC treatments also gets a new shade with a black case and yellow inserts, giving this new model a sporty, modern look.

The Buceador Caribe features bold hour and minute hands, which engage with easily readable indices. The hands and indices are coated with Super-LumiNova, enhancing readability in low light. A central sweep seconds hand and date display completes the list of functions.

Upholding divers’ watch convention, the Buceador Caribe has a solid case back engraved with a depiction of a diver swimming underwater, surrounded by a shoal of tropical fish. The case’s shape encompasses straight and curving lines while diving tanks and snorkels have inspired the crowns and pusher design.

Cuervo y Sobrinos has given the Buceador range sports a new automatic movement, the Soprod P024. The movement was specifically chosen for its reliability and excellent performance. Additionally, the new watches have a power reserve of thirty-eight hours and a Sapphire crystal dome with an anti-reflective coating.
