Be a Zookeeper for a Day at Panama's Family-Friendly Buenaventura Resort

If you were to draw up a dream list of jobs, one that will almost certainly be on the list is working with animals at a zoo. The good news is that it is no longer just a dream, as Buenaventura Resort is letting guests try their hands at being a Zookeeper for a Day at its conservation zoo!

Summer is rapidly approaching, and families are on the lookout for things that will thrill and educate their children. For the more adventurous types who enjoy getting hands-on, Panama’s The Buenaventura Golf & Beach Resort is introducing something that fits the bill.

It’s an activity that allows people to be a Zookeeper for a Day at its conservationist’s zoo through its new Buenaventura Zoo Family Experience package.

Prior to getting in on the action, children will embark on an interactive zoo tour to learn about the different species, how to interact with wildlife responsibly, and the importance of wildlife in maintaining our ecosystem.

In groups of three, children aged five and older can model the real workdays of the resort’s trained caretaking staff by feeding the chickens, rabbits, deer, goats, and peacocks, as well as cleaning their habitats while learning about their diets and behaviours.

Healthy meals are available to children for lunch, in addition to water, fruits, and sodas. To close out the day, participants will receive keepsake photos and peacock feathers to remember the once-in-a-lifetime experience.
