Looking for the ultimate piece of spirit based art? Look no further than the one-of-a-kind Crystal Head Vodka Aurora Magnum
Crystal Head Vodka, the ultra-stylish and premium spirit brand, have teamed up with the also-premium yet decidedly outlandish jeweller The Great Frog to produce an incredibly unique collaboration in the form of a ‘Crown’, displayed neatly atop the limited-edition Aurora Magnum, as you can see in the photos shot by the infamous photographer Rankin.
Shown for the first time at the Lights of Soho members’ club & neon art gallery, this completely one-off creation will only be available to purchase in Selfridges from October 2016. The Crown Stopper, handmade using traditional methods of jewellery production is 18k gold-plated and is adorned with over 100 rubies, sapphires, emeralds, garnets, amethyst & black diamonds, and is finished off with an intricate pave set of diamonds around the collar.
The Crown itself was cast on a hand-carved piece of wax using hand tools and finished by inlaying the aforementioned precious stones by hand.
This partnership with The Great Frog was born from Crystal Head Vodka building its strategy of integrating itself in the luxury fashion market, and you will be pleased to hear the Crown Stopper will fit any of the multitude of bottle sizes offered by Crystal Head Vodka. This event also simultaneously launches the Aurora Magnum, Crystal Head’s newest vodka, boasting an iridescent bottle and a spicier and bolder flavour profile.
With there already being a Crystal Head Vodka magnum on my mantlepiece before this event (purchased with my own money I hasten to add), I can confirm it does transcend the line between the luxury spirits and fashion world well, with compliments aplenty from guests considerably more fashionable than myself. With the Crown Stopper atop it, the Aurora Magnum would be the ideal centrepiece for the bar of any self-respecting city penthouse owner.
Yours for a cool £10,000, but a product does not come much more exclusive than this, even in the luxury world.
