The DUCO Travel Summit Shares the Results of its Successful 3rd Edition

From November 6th to 10th, 2023, DUCO Travel Summit hosted a 4-day event in hand-picked venues in Paris, gathering the finest French hôteliers, hospitality service providers and luxury travel professionals from the major English-speaking markets.

For this third edition in Paris, DUCO Travel Summit welcomed international travel advisors and French hospitality professionals under a Voyages Extraordinaires theme, inspired by Jules Verne’s novels highlighting high-end hospitality not only as the destination but an utterly extraordinary journey that adds another dimension to travel.

Carolina Perez, founder of DUCO, said of the third edition, “What an extraordinary voyage we have been on this week for the third year of DUCO France. So much of how we measure our lives is through our movement – the steps we take, the miles we fly, the tracks we ride – and this week, we have moved at what seemed like breakneck speed, creating connections, fostering relationships, and expanding our understanding of this magnificent country.

“Each year, the world’s premier travel agents come together at DUCO with France’s leading hoteliers and service providers. This year, we took inspiration from French author Jules Verne, who centuries earlier dreamt of adventures beyond the imagination of the time.

Today, we take on that mantel and become both explorers and ambassadors of the crème de la crème of French Hospitality. And we leave with Verne’s words echoing in our minds: ‘Travel if you can… and if you cannot, travel all the same.'”

From November 6th to 10th, DUCO France 2023 gathered 210 brands representing the best French hospitality suppliers and 186 frontline travel advisors and influencer travel agents who are the top sellers and rising stars from English-speaking markets.

Buyers travelled the world to attend the boutique luxury summit: from the United States (72%), Europe (14%), Latin America (5%), Canada (3%), Australia (3%), and Other destinations (3%).

After registering at Saint James Paris, buyers and brand exhibitors met in exceptional venues of the Parisian luxury hospitality scene, such as Lutetia Paris, Maison des Polytechniciens, Yachts de Paris Quay Lounge and Printemps Haussmann.

A total of 54 meetings per exhibitor were organised into daily 15-minute appointments at the very heart of DUCO France.
