As the prestigious Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix returns, 1-Group, in collaboration with Singapore Tourism Board, has curated a series of F1-inspired, family-friendly and lifestyle events across its key venues located beyond the race tracks.

Taking place from 8 to 17 September 2023, the campaign promises to be an immersive celebration with a whole lot of F1 fun. The roster of events includes everything from a kid-friendly mini F1 circuit & classic car showcase at Alkaff Mansion, a racing simulator experience (Wildseed Bar) to restorative brunches tucked away from the buzz (Botanico and Au Balcon) and sundown pool parties with rotating themes and partners at 1-Altitude Coast.


Away from the BUZZ: Themed Parties & Events Beyond the Circuit

A Perennial Drive at Alkaff Mansion
Date: 9 September 2023
Time: 11 am – 8 pm

Designed to complement the dining and nightlife events happening in the vicinity of the racing thrills, come 9 September, Alkaff Mansion will be transformed into an F1-themed wonderland that promises all-day fun for both adults and the little ones.

Bringing the adrenaline of Formula 1 to the stately mansion atop Telok Blangah Hill, young speed enthusiasts can take charge at the dedicated kid’s racing circuit with its inflatable track and battery-operated mini-sized automobiles at $15 per ride.

For the avid motor-sport and history buffs, there is nothing better than a Classic Car Club Showcase featuring restored vintage cars from Porsche, Mercedes, Rolls Royce and more that stand as a testament to the legacy of past racing glories.

To best fuel up for an exciting weekend outdoors, attendees can expect Grand Prix-influenced beverages that include F1-themed shots at S$50++ for 6, food stalls serving up light bites alongside an a la carte dinner menu to keep the nights going.

Elsewhere in far-flung corners of Seletar, Wildseed Bar will be amping up its programming in partnership with Heineken for a race-themed weekend. F1 lovers can experience the thrills of being in the driver’s seat with one lap in a special race simulator with every purchase of a pint of Heineken and a main from the food menu.

Choose from flame-grilled specials like succulent Iberico Pork Ribs ($34++), Smoked Chicken Leg ($28++) or pick from the assortment of pizzas and pasta.

For larger gatherings of race fans, the sharing platters include the Seafood Aqua Pazza ($52++), boasting freshly grilled catches like mussels, baby squid and kelong prawns. Its own rendition on a race-themed light bite, the folks at Wildseed have also crafted tri-coloured slider buns ($24) to keep bellies satiated whilst enjoying a beer or two.

For revellers wishing to escape the city traffic, the rooftop of 1-Altitude Coast is the place to be for hypnotic party anthems and fireworks by the pool. Igniting F1 fervour right off the bat is the Solaris Party happening on 9 September 2023, with an electrifying lineup of DJs spinning an eclectic mix of progressive house, techno, and trance tracks well into the night.

Fast forward to the finale weekend on 16 September, 1-Altitude Coast will manifest into a tropical paradise with The Vibrante Party.

A Brazilian-themed reverie fronted by DJ Chris Columbus putting on Tribal sounds over percussive beats and saxophone runs joined by DJ Tang, who has been rocking the decks with personal re-edits and remixes for over a decade in Singapore. Tickets can also be bought at the door at $25 per pax.

Ending off the season on an unmissable high, The Final Track Party on 17 September will see the return of the DRIP Party Series featuring local favourites DJ Shai, Faith and KNRCK mixing bop-worthy Hip-hop, R&B, Latin and Afrobeat tracks for a sundown party complete with massive floats in the pool.

Throughout the month of September, 1-Altitude Coast will serve up F1-exclusive cocktails like The Raspberry Refueler ($20++) for a refreshing berry hit and the Pallini Pit Stop ($23++) alongside celebratory shots for rousing toasts. Beer geeks can chug to their heart’s fill with Heineken Silver pints going at $12 for 1, $22 for two and $30 for a trio.

Longest Latin-Mediterranean Brunch at Sol & Ora

Housed indoors and within the rooftop of 1-Altitude Coast, Sol & Ora will be jazzing up their live brunch stations to match the global appeal of F1 with their spin on the longest brunch.

Selections include classic French Jambon-Beurre sandwiches ($18++), slices of premium Spanish Jamón ($25++ for 5) and freshly-fried Greek dough balls – Loukoumades, fried to crisp perfection (S$15++)that are best enjoyed with four scoops of gelato for a sweet hit ($15++) – all prepared on demand and in full view.

Backed with a soundtrack of sassy Latin tunes and held in partnership with Moët Hennessy Diageo, bubbly lovers can opt to pair their brunch escapade with a glass ($30++), bottle ($130++) or twin bottles (S250++) of Moët Chandon for an effervescent lift under the sun.

Not too far away from the F1 highs is Botanico’s Garden Terrace, which is hosting an alfresco version of 1-Group’s Longest Brunch. Replete with a line of buffet items and live stations stretching from one end to the other, attendees can feast on an expanded menu of specials, including:

  • Live station dishes: Risotto, Salmon Coulibiac & Beef Wellington, Cheese Platters
  • Order on-demand mains: Free-flow choices of all lunch mains, including Asian Dover Sole, Smoked Half Spatchcock and more

Extending 1-Group’s repertoire of culinary delights to Mondays-Fridays, UNA’s 3-course lunch menu is committed to showcasing the wonders of classic Barcelonian fare. At only $48++ per pax, gourmands can opt for choices like smoked chorizos complemented with Manzanilla olives or seafood specials like the Almejas a la Marinera, boasting fresh clams cooked in white wine and Pulpo a la Gallega, grilled Octopus paired with saffron potatoes.

Fresh off the open grill come succulent mains like the seared Iberian pork shoulder (Presa Iberica) or the Charred Wagyu Sirloin Steak (Bistee Vaccio con Cremas de Patatas) with a manchego mash finished off with desserts like the Spanish Creme Brulee (Crema Catalana) or traditional churros dipped in 100% Valrhona chocolate.

Options for mains include a classic chicken cassoulet, balsamic glazed pork belly, Inka grilled angus flank or a butter-poached radish before ending off with either a Paris Brest or a Crème Brulée.

Otherwise, guests can sink their teeth into its varied collection of ala carte items featuring choices of charcuterie, cuts of meat from its rotisserie, as well as traditional go-to’s like the beef cheek bourguignon and buttermilk galette. For fans of a tipple, unlimited pours of prosecco are also available at $38++ per pax for extra indulgence.
