Hotel Das Rübezahl is embarking on a new culinary journey. Although it will be saying goodbye to its gourmet restaurant Gams & Gloria, it will be moving its focus to upgrading the menu of the Louis II restaurant – with vegetarians and vegans firmly in mind.
Cosmopolitan Creations with Regional Influences
The “Allgäuer Kässpatzen” are one of the most popular classics on the à la carte menu, so of course, they are also on the new menu. What will come as more good news is that all of the food will be sourced from the region: cheese and meat, for example, come directly from the Allgäu’s grazing livestock.
In addition to the classics, guests can expect modern gourmet creations as well as a large selection of vegetarian and vegan options. For example, how about “braised sweet potato with couscous, caramelized chicory, soy yoghurt, pomegranate and wild herbs”? With about 350 different wines from various vintages, you will pretty much be guaranteed to find the right wine to accompany your meal.
In the comfortably furnished restaurant, every guest will find his or her favourite corner. The various smaller areas create an individual atmosphere with different designs that reflect and continue the royal alpine style of the entire hotel.
Candlelight Dinners and Culinary Events
The small boutique hotel with a view of the castle of Neuschwanstein specializes in romance. Engagements, marriage proposals, anniversaries… Lovers will find the perfect setting here and can rely on the support of professionals in planning their special occasions. A romantic dinner is offered in the Zirbenstube every day: a delicious 5-course menu served by candlelight.
Special culinary events are also planned for the warmer months of the year. Whether it is a gourmet dinner in the company of renowned winemakers or a garden party with live cooking and wine tasting, Hotel Das Rübezahl is planning an eventful summer that invites you to enjoy the view of the castle from the terrace and the wellness garden with culinary delights.
