Artesian at The Langham Launches New Food and Cocktail Pairing Experience

Artesian, The Langham, London’s world-renowned bar, is set to launch a food and cocktail pairing experience, with dishes from Chef Angelo Sato of Humble Chicken that have been carefully matched with cocktails by Head Bartender Giulia Cuccurullo.

The innovative pairing menu sees the Japanese flavours and ingredients of Angelo’s cooking perfectly complemented by select cocktails from Artesian’s visionary new list: Ingredients of the Future.

Angelo is renowned for his sustainable culinary practices, making him the perfect chef partner for Artesian’s Ingredients of the Future cocktail list, which sees each cocktail celebrate a meticulously researched ingredient that shows remarkable sustainability, versatility and adaptability.

About Angelo Sato
Having worked in various Tokyo restaurants from the age of fourteen, Sato moved to London at just seventeen, hoping to work for Gordon Ramsay after seeing a clip of him encouraging young chefs to get out of their comfort zones. He arrived at the Chelsea restaurant and convinced the head chef, Clare Smyth, to give him a job.

He went on to work with Adam Byatt at Trinity before moving to New York to work at various Michelin-starred establishments, including Eleven Madison Park. Upon returning to London, Sato became head chef at Restaurant Story before setting up his own QSR, including Omoide and Yatai. In 2021, Angelo opened Humble Chicken in Soho to great critical acclaim.
