Mademoiselle Gray Replaces its Sun Loungers with Pine Trees and Grottos

Mademoiselle Gray Switches to 'Mother Christmas' Mode Bringing More Festive Joy

Whether you visit in the height of summer or in the middle of winter, Mademoiselle Gray will always be the most enticing and bohemian address on the Croisette. For the festive period, she has switched to her full “Mother Christmas” beautification mode to ensure that everyone gets to experience the most wonderful time of the year in the best possible way.

Whilst everyone else in France is scouring the shops searching for the ideal gift to place under the tree, Mademoiselle Gray is already dressed up in her festive finery, as hibernating for the winter is definitely not a concept that exists at La Plage, the Hôtel Barrière Le Gray d’Albion’s beachside restaurant!

In fact, this particular mademoiselle is in full “Mother Christmas” beautification mode, ready to welcome locals and guests from farther afield for much of the winter and treating them to the irresistible gourmet delights of chef Pierrick Cizeron, who will be conjuring up festive treats from his childhood in an ambience teeming with festive spirit and creativity.

Gone are the sun-loungers and parasols; instead, the sandy beach is hosting a forest of Christmas trees adorned with baubles and festive garlands. In the middle of these pine trees, you’ll also find two wooden chalets: one for kids, the other for the food fans who, from 3-5 pm, Thursdays to Sundays, will be tempted by the enticing aroma of crêpes, a delicacy best accompanied by one of the beach bar’s winter specialities – a warming glass of vin chaud! Winter does have its benefits!

To increase the festive atmosphere further, the beach staff will, of course, be dressed up for the occasion, having succumbed to the famous Christmas sweater tradition. Although this means that Mademoiselle Gray will temporarily be sans her usual bohemian chic look, she will continue to dazzle the Croisette with her customary colour and fun character, which is why we all adore her!

The last stroke of genius from this princess of the Croisette is Santa’s throne, which sits on a pristine carpet of snow created by a snow cannon. There will be no need to head to the North Pole to locate the world’s most famous white-bearded character for a photo to post on Insta or TikTok!

To avoid committing a crime against the spirit of Christmas, if you come across a rotund figure dressed all in red, rest assured it is without a doubt him. After all, having travelled all the way from Lapland, who else could it be? Nobody, not even Santa, can resist the charms of Mademoiselle Gray!
