Madinat Jumeirah Unveils Seven Newly-designed Malakiya Villas

Following a year-long refurbishment, Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf, Madinat Jumeirah’s most intimate hotel, has unveiled seven exclusive Malakiya Villas that embody the pinnacle of Arabian hospitality. The newly refurbished villas have plush and modern interiors, creating a couture-inspired oasis of timeless elegance.

Dubai-based Sahar Alyaseer was tasked with designing Madinat Jumeirah’s new villas, which boast a striking aesthetic, a tribute to the resort’s Arabesque design. Sahar has opted for neutral furnishings, which provide a tranquil setting when bathed in natural light. Pops of colour add depth and warmth to the ambience, making them a haven of hospitality and luxury.

Peter Roth, Regional Vice President of Madinat Jumeirah and General Manager of Jumeirah Al Qasr, says, “It gives me great pleasure to introduce the newly redesigned Malakiya Villas at Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf. These villas embody the pinnacle of Arabian hospitality, providing guests with an exclusive and niche hotel experience that combines opulence, tranquillity, and privacy.

Our team of dedicated butlers are committed to curating personalised stays, ensuring that every detail is taken care of and every request is met with utmost precision and care. The villas offer a luxurious home away from home for our guests to create lasting memories with their loved ones. We are excited to welcome our beloved guests back to this unparalleled oasis of elegance.”

A gateway for multi-generational families looking to reconnect, friends wanting a private escape or couples seeking a romantic getaway, Malakiya Villas are the ultimate destination for memorable stays. Nestled along Madinat Jumeirah’s leafy waterways, the villas are perfect for those who seek seclusion, discretion, and impeccable tailor-made services.

Guest convenience is at the heart of the Malakiya Villas, where a dedicated team of private butlers fulfil guests’ every fantasy and craft out-of-the-ordinary experiences, including private yoga experiences in the garden, bespoke spa treatments in the privacy of each villa with Talise Spa’s expert therapists, and exceptional gastronomic dining experiences by the resort’s renowned chefs.

By going above and beyond a conventional hotel stay to offer pristine levels of comfort and sophistication in a private setting, Malakiya Villas provide a new benchmark for luxury accommodation as the ultimate chic and modern-day retreat.

Dubai-based Sahar Alyaseer, Founder of La Bottega by Intice, says, “It was an honour to collaborate with Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf to refurbish its luxurious Malakiya Villas. The idea behind incorporating neutral tones in the interiors and landscapes is to connect guests with the surrounding natural environment without taking away the warmth and intimacy of the villas. This allows the design to flow seamlessly and look aesthetically pleasing, a key focus at La Bottega by Intice.”

Available in two- and three-bedroom configurations, all seven villas – including the Royal Malakiya Villa – have a plunge pool, expansive private terrace, kitchen and access to Madinat Jumeirah’s two-kilometre private beach and exclusive pools, including Celeste, an adult-only infinity pool with sweeping views of the glittering ocean.

Upon arrival, guests have the option to embark on a picturesque journey via traditional wooden abra boats that traverse the scenic waterways of Madinat Jumeirah. They are then welcomed into an exclusive reception area where they can enjoy refreshments while being personally attended to by their dedicated butler, who will accompany them to their villa.

Guests can take advantage of private beachside cabanas with a stunning view of Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, and complimentary daily aperitifs served in the privacy of their villa. Specially curated rotating amenities from the resort’s signature dining outlets Pierchic, French Riviera, and Al Nafoorah, along with a selection of afternoon tea favourites crafted by Head Pastry Chef Dimitri Esposito, are also served daily.

With more than 50 dining venues across Madinat Jumeirah, guests can pick from an array of award-winning culinary destinations perfect for making everlasting memories with loved ones. From the picturesque Pierchic perched at the end of the private pier to the beachside paradise Shimmers and renowned Rockfish, the options to explore the taste of Jumeirah are endless.
