Four Delicious Gastronomy Trails to Follow During Mostra de Cuina 2023

Every year in the Spring, Mallorca celebrates its gastronomy during the “Mostra de Cuina”, a month-long event that showcases the island’s wide array of local produce and traditional dishes, this year taking place from 06 March to 02 April.

Whilst Mallorca isn’t short of outdoor activities, sporting events and cultural escapes to enjoy during the winter months, it is undoubtedly its gastronomy that attracts the largest number of visitors to its shores at this time of the year.

The “Mostra de Cuina”, or Culinary Festival, was created to acknowledge the synergy between gastronomy and culture on the island, and every event, party or meeting comes with its own local dish to enjoy and celebrate. Led by the Mallorca restaurateurs’ association, “Mostra de Cuina” features traditional dishes along four gastronomy trails highlighting various regions of the island.

In an effort to promote local restaurants and the use of local products, each itinerary invites guests to taste renowned Mediterranean food whilst visiting various towns along the way.

Starting on 06 March 2023, the festival will focus each week on a different region of Mallorca and entice visitors with a set “Mostra Menu” at a cost of 25 euros that includes a starter, a main course, a dessert and a drink. An upgraded “Gastronomic Menu” is also available in certain establishments for a supplement.
