Mr Organic Partners with 4 London Restaurants to Help those in Need of Food

This July, Mr Organic is partnering with four restaurants across the capital to support those in need of food. Each partner will have a special menu item available throughout the month, and each time you buy one, Mr Organic will donate a meal to the community kitchen, Made In Hackney.

The ‘Specials’ can be found in The Spread Eagle, W.A.V.E, En Root and Plant Hub with each plant-based dish using a range of Mr Organic products from Organic Basil Pesto, Organic Hazelnut Spread, Organic Black Rice and more! The Spread Eagle will be serving up an indulgent Chocolate & Hazelnut Martini, W.A.V.E will plate up piles of Creamy Pesto Pasta, Plant Hub will satisfy pizza lovers everywhere with a Hazelnut & Chocolate Calzone, and En Root will have two specials, a Five Bean & Pepper Stew alongside a Sweet Dosa with Glazed Bananas.

Made In Hackney are a local community-based cooking school and charity. It was started as a response to global and local crises – health inequalities, food access and climate change. They work to drive positive change in the areas of community, health and environment by providing delicious, culturally varied, nutritious plant-based food at the centre of all they do.

“The cost-of-living crisis has only seen the need for Made In Hackney’s services increase,” said Maddie Grinham, brand manager at Mr Organic. “Particularly so for families during the school holidays. We are partnering with Made In Hackney to donate funds to help support members of the community and provide as many meals as possible for those who need it most.”

With no additional cost to consumers, no optional extra donation on the bill, just a simple one-for-one model, Mr Organic hopes to make helping others in this time of squeeze as easy and accessible to all. The Mr Organic X Made In Hackney partnership will run all throughout July, so there’s plenty of time to head down to a participating restaurant, enjoy a great dish or drink and help someone in need.

The address for the four restaurants partnering with Mr Organic are:

  • The Spread Eagle, 224 Homerton High Street, London, E9 6AS
