The NH Collection Makes its Debuts in UAE with Dubai The Palm Hotel

The NH Collection brand has made its long-awaited debut in the Middle East by opening Dubai The Palm, its first luxury hotel in the region. Simon Wittenberg takes a closer look at what this new property has to offer guests.

NH Collection Dubai The Palm marks the launch of the NH Collection brand in the Middle East. Situated on Dubai’s renowned Palm Jumeirah with direct access to West Palm Beach, the newly-built property features 226 hotel guest rooms and suites, as well as 306 studios and apartments across 11 room categories.

The top-of-the-range Premium Sea View Room, the One Bedroom Sea View Suite, and Superior One Bedroom Sea View Apartment grant stunning views of the Dubai Marina skyline and Arabian Gulf, in addition to exclusive use of the NH Collection Premium Lounge.

The property employs the brand’s ‘Brilliant Basics’ and ensures guests get the best comforts possible, including exclusive NH Collection Sleep Better mattresses in every room, complemented by a selection of pillows.

Inside the large Maiora dining room

When it comes to dining, NH Collection Dubai The Palm offers guests a choice of five eateries. These are namely, “Maiora” (above) for all-day dining and the famed NH Collection breakfast, “Revo Café” – a chic urban hangout where chefs craft creative and healthy dishes, “Té Lounge” for light, healthy bites; and the “Seven Sports Bar”, where visitors can relax in an informal setting or watch a sporting event over classic snacks and drinks.

These venues will be joined shortly by the modern multi-sensory rooftop SEEN Restaurant and Bar, providing spectacular sunset views and expertly mixed cocktails.

The hotel's rooftop crescent shaped infinity pool

Another unique selling point of NH Collection Dubai The Palm is its spectacular temperature-controlled 45-metre rooftop infinity pool. Furthermore, for those who like to work out during a vacation, the luxurious property features a fully equipped gym.

Even the little ones haven’t been forgotten, thanks to the NH Kids’ Club, which is designed for children between four and 12 years, where younger guests are entertained with games, arts, crafts and more. The hotel will also soon launch its own beach club adjacent to West Palm Beach.

Sustainability lies at the heart of this property, with the prime objective of minimising its impact on the environment. For example, NH Collection Dubai The Palm has its own water plant, where solar panels are used to generate hot water, whilst condensed water from the air conditioning system is used for irrigation.

Room amenities are vegan and sustainable, with a notable effort being made to reduce and recycle waste. Initiatives to launch later in the year include an onsite apiary, a hydroponic farm within the hotel, and a community market.

For those planning meetings and events, the hotel provides five light and airy spaces equipped with the latest technology and is ready to cater for up to 45 people. Dedicated specialists go beyond expectations to make both organisers and attendees feel well looked after throughout their event.

The property’s prime location means downtime can be spent on the beach or exploring the city, while private transfers can be arranged to Dubai International Airport, just a 30-minute drive away.
