A scientific guide for a more restful sleep has been curated for guests at the Reef House Boutique Hotel and Spa in Tropical North Queensland.
The adults-only wellness resort’s Reef House team have worked with PhD sleep scientist, Sabine Christelli, to create the Sleep Easy programme.
The Sleep Support Guide is provided on arrival, and all guests have access to the Reef House’s Sleep Easy Guest Portal – an online selection of blogs, videos, music playlists and audio files to help guests achieve the perfect night’s sleep.
In-room, there is a pillow menu to ensure maximum sleep comfort, a custom-made mattress to aid sleep, plus a selection of locally-sourced teas and herbal infusions.
The programme stretches into the day, too, as guests are encouraged to enjoy exercise options – from morning yoga to stretch and breath classes, as well as aqua aerobics in the resort’s two pools and complimentary bikes available to explore the many cycle trails around Palm Cove.
If a good night’s sleep doesn’t make weary travellers feel fresher and younger, the property’s spa has launched a new Visage Intense Marine Facial – an ancient Japanese massage technique that gives an instant facelift.
A 60-minute personalised workout for the facial muscles, the treatment includes a deep cleanse, exfoliation and nourishment with marine-based Phytomer products to blur facial lines and stimulate the production of collagen.
The 5* Reef House Boutique Hotel and Spa is located in Palm Cove, Tropical North Queensland, a region renowned for its natural beauty, superb beaches and the only place in the world where two World Heritage Sites meet – the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest.
An overnight stay at Reef House costs from A$679 (approx £350) per room based on two people sharing and including breakfast; alternatively, the Wellness package offers four nights from A$2048 (£1060) per person, and includes the three-day spa treatment to rejuvenate. The Visage Intense Marine Facial costs A$225 (approx £115) for 60 mins treatment.
