The Saudi Tourism Authority to Bring Arabia to Jakarta from 1-5 May, 2024

Saudi Arabia, renowned for its spiritual significance as a destination for Umrah pilgrims, is now beckoning Indonesian travellers to explore its multifaceted offerings beyond religious travel. The Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) is spearheading a series of initiatives aimed at showcasing Saudi Arabia as a safe, accessible, and culturally enriching destination for Indonesian tourists.

Saudi Tourism Authority is set to host a consumer mall activation in Jakarta, Indonesia, titled “VISIT SAUDI, BEYOND UMRAH.” Scheduled from May 1st to 5th, 2024, at Kota Kasablanka, this exhibition aims to showcase Saudi Arabia’s diverse tourism offerings, catering to spiritual, cultural, and adventure enthusiasts alike. Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Hajj & Umrah, H.E. Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan AlRabiah, will inaugurate the event, promising an auspicious start to this grand affair.

“VISIT SAUDI, BEYOND UMRAH” will feature exclusive deals and offers from Indonesian travel agents and tour operators, including special discounts, cashback offers, buy 5 get one free deal, 0% instalment plans, and tour vouchers.

Saudi is also featuring the Umrah+ experience during the exhibition to unveil the cultural and historical treasures of Saudi Arabia, inviting travellers to explore Saudi Arabia beyond the spiritual pilgrimage. After Umrah, travellers can make use of the 90-day visa to delve into the kingdom’s cultural and historical treasures, such as AlBalad and Jeddah waterfront in Jeddah, Maraya Hall and Elephant Rock in AlUla and Khaybar in Medina.

The exhibition will highlight Saudi Arabia’s rich offerings in Jeddah, AlUla, and Riyadh.

Jeddah, known as the gateway to Saudi Arabia, boasts UNESCO heritage sites like AlBalad, vibrant souks, and luxury stays at properties like the St. Regis Red Sea resort.

AlUla, with its UNESCO World Heritage Site and thrilling outdoor adventures, offers a glimpse into Saudi Arabia’s ancient history and natural beauty.

Riyadh, with its bustling events calendar and cultural experiences, promises to captivate travellers seeking excitement and exploration.
