At the official ceremony of the MOTOR BOAT OF THE YEAR AWARDS, held on the 9th January in London at the Savoy Hotel, the superb Prestige 500 was awarded the title of “Motor Yacht of the Year” in the category of yachts up to 55 feets in length.
The annual awards, put together by Motor Boat & Yachting and its sister title Motor Boats Monthly celebrate the very best in boat design and construction. The judges’ panel, consisting of experts from Motor Boat & Yachting and Motor Boats Monthly magazines, chose nine boats to receive one of the coveted trophies.

You may recall that this new model for 2011, first launched in Düsseldorf, Germany, won the trophy for “Best Interior Design” in September at the World Yachts Trophies Awards in Cannes, France. She has been named “Best Motor Yacht” at the Nautical Design Awards in Milan (October) and ‘Best of the Best’ 2011 in Hainan by the magazine Robb Report (October). She is also nominated for the title of “European Powerboat of the Year 2012” in the category of yachts over 45 feet in length. As usual, the winner will be announced during the Boat Show at Düsseldorf.
