Available from 2 October to 30 November 2023, the afternoon tea will delight diners with delectable savouries and sweets gracefully displayed on a three-tiered silver stand.
A pioneer in phyto-cosmetology, incorporating potent plant-based extracts into its creations, Sisley embraces a core philosophy that echoes JW Marriott’s commitment to curating a soul-nourishing guest experience inspired by nature.
The first-ever afternoon tea partnership of Sisley in Hong Kong, this collaborative tea set will captivate diners with delicate treats made by the hotel’s pastry talents and infused with the quintessence of SISLEŸA, the brand’s iconic anti-ageing skincare collection, such as ginkgo, lavender and marjoram.
Embark on the journey with a refreshing welcome drink, Osmanthus Oolong Bliss Tea. Tempting confections include Ginkgo Pearl with ginkgo sesame curd, yuzu crystal and yuba tuille, resembling “ginkgo and bean curd sweet soup”; the light and soft Lavender Cheese with a delightful floral fragrance; and the amber-hued Caramel Apple decorated with a ginkgo leaf, exuding autumn flavours.
The fruity Mandarin Lemon Meringue has layers of mandarin compote, citrus jelly and pepper chocolate sponge. The Honey and Yoghurt Financier is perfectly baked to yield crisp edges and a moist centre, with dried raspberries to offer an extra hint of fruitiness.
The savoury bites, crafted with key ingredients and scents from SISLEŸA, are also impressive. The nuttiness of ginkgo complements the umami seafood in the Lobster and Ginkgo Salad with Caviar and Mango Dressing. The adorable Ginkgo with Onion Cone will intrigue diners with moderately sweet flavours inside the crunchy mini cone.
The decadent filling in the Lavender Chocolate Foie Gras Mousse with Citrus Gel is velvety and rich. The Lavender Blackberry Goat Cheese Bun is a harmonious balance of sweet and savoury notes. The signature Ancient Abalone Tart and the Fresh Scallop with Red Cabbage Cream and Marjoram Oil will tantalise seafood lovers’ palates with fresh and exquisite ingredients.
Complete the afternoon tea ritual with homemade raisin scones and plain scones served with jam and clotted cream. Sip on a cup of Tea WG fine tea or freshly brewed coffee. Elevate the experience with something bubbly by adding a glass of Moët & Chandon Champagne at an extra HK$130.
