What's Cooking at Le Cordon Bleu Summer Festival in July?

Le Cordon Bleu London will be holding their annual Summer Festival this year at the institute in Bloomsbury. The Summer Festival takes place on Saturday, 1st July 2023, and will feature activities, including cooking demonstrations, culinary workshops, wine tastings and the opportunity to sample gourmet products.

Those attending Le Cordon Bleu Summer Festival can access fantastic guest chef demonstrations throughout the day. The chefs include Woongchul Park, Chef Founder of one Michelin-starred Sollip; Alyn Williams, Executive Chef at Park Row; Nicolas Rouzaud, Executive Pastry Chef at The Connaught; Kerth Gumbs, Head Chef for Fenchurch Restaurant at Sky Garden and Christophe Marleix, Executive Chef at CORD by Le Cordon Bleu.

For those who want to experience what it is like to be a student at Le Cordon Bleu, there are a fantastic variety of hands-on workshops, which will be led by Le Cordon Bleu Master Chefs to choose from. Attendees will get the opportunity to learn classic French techniques in cuisine, pâtisserie and boulangerie or modern skills in plant-based cuisine, gastronomy and culinary innovation.

Something that should garner significant attention is the wine workshops hosted by Matthieu Longuere MS, Le Cordon Bleu London’s Wine Development Manager. At the wine workshops, Matthieu will guide attendees through a selection of fascinating tasting sessions whilst offering some of his incredible knowledge and insights.

In between workshops, guests can spend time at the Salon Gourmet Tasting Area to sample and purchase some fantastic products. This area will feature various samples throughout the day, including a Wine Bar featuring wines from Louis Latour and Banfi and Cognac Frapin and Champagne Gosset.

Caviar will be available from Caviar House & Prunier, while Daily Fish Supplies will be on hand with fresh seafood for Le Cordon Bleu Master Chefs and students to create some incredible dishes for you to sample.

Bonne Maman will also be showcasing its offerings, and Smith & Brock will be providing its fresh produce to Le Cordon Bleu Master Chefs and students who will be creating some sample dishes to highlight the incredible ingredients.
