Inside the Kids Club Fab lab

Designed to foster a passion for learning and exploration alongside an appreciation for our natural world and different cultures, Patina Maldives has carefully crafted a selection of activities for teens and younger children.

Ghost Net Bracelet and Coral Ceramic workshops will be complemented by Marine Talks, which will engage guests directly with beach and reef clean-ups and the resort’s resident marine biologists.

Boduberu classes allow guests to try their hand at traditional Maldivian drumming, while Cultural Ambassador sessions connect younger patrons with the Maldives’ history, art, and renowned natural wonders.

The Fab Lab invites children to design and manufacture their own miniature F1 cars or create models with 3D printers and laser cutters.

Recycling workshops, art classes, Junior Master Chef sessions and ‘Kids’ Got Talent’ activities nurture creativity, whilst kids’ yoga and mat Pilates foster a sense of wellbeing and mindfulness.

Active souls can join the Kids’ Olympics, Pirates’ Treasure Hunt and Amazing Race; play dodgeball, beach volleyball, tennis and football; and explore the marine world with introductions to swimming, snorkelling and diving.

Patina Maldives’ teen activity programme blends the dynamics of education, sport and marine exploration with hands-on experiences, including photography classes, catamaran sailing lessons, discovery dives, windsurfing lessons, Tabata and beach football.
