Celebrate Vinexpo at the 'Rosewood Wine Museum Affair' in Hong Kong

Rosewood Hong Kong has unveiled the “Rosewood Wine Museum Affair” as part of the prestigious Wine Hong Kong & Vinexpo Asia event taking place this May. It is an exclusive wine program that showcases a series of exceptional wine dinners featuring leading winemakers, brand ambassadors, and winery owners from around the world.

Meticulously lined up for four evenings, esteemed speakers from the industry will guide guests through a captivating exploration of wine, sharing their expertise and insights.

For an authentic Italian wine-tasting experience, join the Vertical of Giuseppe Cortese, Barbaresco Wine Dinner at The Dining Room by Bluhouse on 12 May. Produced from the Piedmont region of Italy, the wine is harmonious and well-balanced, forming a compelling pairing with refined Italian cuisine prepared by Chef de Cuisine Giovanni Galeota.

Highlights of the vintages include Rabajà Riserva 1996, Rabajà 1995 and Rabajà Riserva 2004. The dinner is priced at HK$1,888$+10% per guest.

For a luxury French Champagne journey, opt for Vertical of Champagne Bollinger La Grande Année at The GlassHouse by Asaya Kitchen, hosted by Export Director Mr Thibault Jaubert on 17 May.

Made only from Grand and Premier Cru grapes, guests will taste all pairings on the night with limited edition magnums such as one of the last 1989 released by the estate together with 1992 and 1995.

Alongside the seafood-focused dishes prepared by Fabio Nompleggio, Executive Sous Chef of Asaya Kitchen, the night will encompass Mediterranean dishes with fine Champagne and an impressive view of Victoria Harbour at the GlasssHouse. The dinner is priced at HK$3,888+10% per guest.

Wine lovers can also experience the Vertical of Château Croix de Labrie, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé Wine Dinner at HENRY with the owner, Mr Pierre Courdurié, on 25 May. Indulge in the collection of Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé from Château Croix de Labrie, including the excellent 2016 and recent powerful releases 2019/2020.

Chef Jorge Vera of HENRY carefully crafts all dishes, which, together with the pairing cr, create a quintessential American steakhouse experience. The dinner is priced at HK$1,988+10% per guest.

Vega Sicilia Valbuena 5° Vertical Dinner at HENRY on 29 May

At HENRY—the American Grill and Smokehouse—one of the highlighted dinners is the Vega Sicilia Valbuena 5° Vertical Dinner on 29 May. Vega Sicilia is considered one of the most iconic producers in Spain and one of those legendary names in the world of wine.

For one night only, the head of Vega Sicilia, Don Pablo Álvarez, will host a wine paring dinner and release some back vintages directly from the winery that are produced with the utmost respect for tradition, such as the outstanding 2004 vintage or the delicate 1998. The dinner is priced at HK$3,288 +10% per guest.

With roots in Oakville, California, Opus One is a collaborative venture between Baron Philippe de Rothschild and Robert Mondavi, producing esteemed Bordeaux-style blends like Opus One and Overture since 1979, epitomising California winemaking excellence and luxury. HENRY has an exclusive ambassadorship with Opus One winery, becoming the sole Hong Kong restaurant ambassador for Opus One in 2024.

The program offers guests access to Opus One’s vintage releases directly from the acclaimed winery. A vertical collection of 12 vintages, including magnums, is available by the bottle. Guests can also enjoy exclusive wine dinners featuring Opus One’s exquisite blends.
