This Season's Must-Sip Gin: Warner's Christmas Cake Gin

Let the good times be-Gin! Warner’s limited-edition Christmas Cake Gin is here – and it’s utterly delicious.

Now you can enjoy your Christmas cake in gin form.

Finding the right tipple to celebrate Christmas with is no easy task. Sometimes, it takes some dedicated, hard-working people who understand what Christmas means to make things a little easier for you and this is where Warner’s step into the frame.

Some drinks makers (no names mentioned) take the easy route by adding a festive word or two to the product name and it is essentially their standard offering with a festive name and Christmassy-themed graphics.

Warner’s are a little different and have produced a limited-edition Christmas cake gin which was inspired by founder Tom Warner’s mum’s Christmas cake recipe. If you’re thinking that sounds ideal and want to get your hands on a bottle, you’ll need to be quick as the 2018 and 2019 vintages sold out at breakneck speed!

Essentially, what Warner’s have created is Christmas in a bottle and it is packed with festive flavours.

A bottle of Warner's Christmas Cake Gin leaves no doubt which season it is aimed at when you see oneThis unique gin is made by distilling dark chocolate and winter spices, then cask-aged and blended with cherry juice. Unlike your usual G&T, this gin is best complimented with premium cola and a slice of orange or mixed into an espresso martini.

It comes in a gorgeous illustrated bottle, making the gin a wonderful gift for the gin lover in your life. You can also add a special message (of up to 20 characters) with Warner’s personalisation labelling service.

Warner’s was founded in 2012 and is run by husband and wife team, Tom and Tina Warner, who are both farm-born and bred.

The Warner’s distillery is based on Falls Farm in Northamptonshire – Tom’s family farm.

The gins are lovingly created using hand-picked and all-natural ingredients from their five acres of gardens at the Falls Farm distillery.

Tom and Tina are big on sustainability, using water from their own spring, botanicals from their gardens and fresh honey from their beehives to create the gins.

In fact, they’re the only British craft gin distillery to have a dedicated conservation manager.

Tom and Tina (below) said: “We started in 2012 on our beautiful family farm, with no idea what we were getting ourselves into. We began with the things that matter most and a dream to save the world from mediocre gin. We ended up stripping the industry back to its roots: we became gin farmers.

It’s dirty hands, hard work, full hearts, and a deep love of the land. It’s coming to work every day with a smile on your face and a fire in your belly to make uncompromising, epic 100% natural farm-grown gin. Forget moonshine; this is sunshine.”
