Yoto Helps The Athenaeum Hotel & Residences to Broaden its Family Offering

The Athenaeum Hotel & Residences has announced it has joined forces with the children’s audio platform, Yoto, to help broaden its family offering and provide little guests with fun and educational content to keep them entertained during their stay.

Launching this September 2022, the collaboration will introduce a selection of Yoto audio players, library card content, and accessories that will be made available to families in the comfort of their own hotel rooms.

There will be more than 1,000 stories from authors such as Julia Donaldson, Roald Dahl, and Judith Kerr, plus a selection of music and activities. There will be so much choice for the little ones and the best thing? The carefully connected speakers are screen-free. They put kids in control of their listening, learning, and play. No microphones. No cameras. No ads.

Colourful accessories allow children to personalise the players during their stay, organise their card collections, and use child-safe headphones. The partnership will also involve a 10% discount being offered exclusively to guests of The Athenaeum Hotel & Residences, as well as exciting social media competitions with prizes to be won.

Bunkbeds in the hotel suiteIn addition to this exciting new partnership, families can enjoy a range of other facilities and activities at the family-run hotel. The hotel’s private residences, for example, are ideal for families and come complete with views over Green Park or Mayfair, fully-equipped kitchens, dining areas and sitting rooms, plus interconnecting bedrooms, child beds and cots on request.

The hotel also has a children’s concierge service, which offers lots for children, from toys tailored to little ones’ interests, kite-flying in the neighbouring royal parks and milk and biscuits before bedtime.

Additionally, a team of nannies and babysitters are on hand to allow parents some downtime, and when it comes to dining, the hotel’s signature British restaurant, 116 at The Athenaeum, provides special options tailored for little ones. Parents will be delighted to know that breakfast is complimentary for all children.

Joanne Taylor-Stagg, General Manager at The Athenaeum Hotel & Residences, said, “We are delighted to be partnering with such an innovative platform as Yoto. Our family guests mean a lot to us, and we’re always striving to offer them new and unique experiences that provide luxury service and a little helping hand. The Yoto products provide children with great entertainment, and I’m sure parents will enjoy watching their little ones explore the different stories, music, and activities during their stay with us.”

Ben Drury, Co-Founder and CEO of Yoto, added, “The Athenaeum Hotel & Residences is the perfect place for a family holiday in London, with exquisite attention to detail for children and adults alike in a beautiful central location. We are thrilled to be able to offer guests at The Athenaeum Hotel & Residences a Yoto Player in-room for their stay. The Yoto Players are fantastic for helping little ones to settle in a new environment, and they offer hours of screen-free, completely child-led entertainment to make holidays extra special for both parent and child.”
