Ong Chin Huat goes to the opening of the new Armani/KL store in Kuala Lumpur and rubs shoulders with the sleek and chic.
To celebrate the opening of Armani/KL at the Pavilion Shopping Mall in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, a star-studded party was held at the two-storey store.
With the Italian maestro’s main label, Giorgio Armani, occupying one level and the diffusion line, Emporio Armani, occupying another level, the VIP guests consisting of celebrities, socialites and fashionistas were treated to a special fashion presentation of both Giorgio Armani and Emporio Armani’s Fall/Winter 2018 collections.
The store suitably impressed all the attendees as it was designed by Giorgio Armani and his team of in-house architects. A bar complete with mixologists was set up in the store while a duo DJ called Twinkies spun tunes and beats, which got the crowd in the right party mood.
Things picked up a notch or two when Hong Kong actress and singer Fala Chen, who was the guest of honour, turned up to grace the event with her presence.
Those who were brave enough to step out of the store, if only for a few minutes, were taken in by the bronze metal façade which covers the entire storefront while the alphabet “A” looms large at a corner.
