Stylish Travel with the New BOSS | SAMSONITE Capsule Travel Collection

Fashion-forward individuals always think one step ahead. If this is you, you may be interested to learn that haute fashion brand Hugo Boss has just launched an exclusive capsule collection collaboration with luggage manufacturer Samsonite. But you’ll need to be quick, as only a limited number of pieces are up for grabs.

The co-created capsule collection features four models in the shape of a cabin case, two check-in suitcases and a trunk. The collection will help discerning travellers elevate their style and street cred.

BOSS has long been established as one of the powerhouses in the fashion industry known for its collection of men’s and women’s wear, accessories, fragrances, and accessories. In addition, it has tapped into the bags, backpacks and laptop market. But it’s only now that the fashion house brand has made a foray into the wider travel essentials industry.

Its collaboration with Samsonite seems natural because both brands share premium quality, innovation, and timeless design with a distinctive twist. The co-created premium pieces marry luxury and style with practicality with relative ease.

A key player in the travel industry, Samsonite’s sleek collection is made of high-quality aluminium and, as one would expect, is embellished with BOSS’s signature monogram via anodisation. The precise process embeds the tone-on-tone black motif in the aluminium shells, ensuring a pristine, long-lasting, and unique finish.

Inside the BOSS | Samsonite suitcase collection, the soft-textured interior lining features BOSS’s iconic camel colour and includes prominent branding. But it’s definitely not style over substance, as the capacious compartments with adjustable straps and zips have been designed to pack and organise belongings with precision to maximise space.

Furthermore, the co-branded leather handles help give the cases a distinctive tailored look, allowing carriers to achieve a polished look. In addition, the collection created with longevity in mind features high-performance wheels to roll the cases with ease, while the TSA lock offers travellers piece of mind. What’s more, owners can personalise the suitcases with their initials, which will no doubt help identify bags quickly.

Regardless of your destination or travel needs, one of the four suitcases will cater for all adventurers. All boasting Spinner 4 Wheels, the cabin suitcase comes in at 55cm, two check-in suitcases at 69cm and 76cm, respectively and the trunk at 80cm.

The smallest size is priced at £800, and the larger trunk retails for £1,000. It may be a tad on the pricey side for some, but for frequent travellers, the BOSS | Samsonite will be viewed as a good investment.

The captivating suitcases are now available for purchase in selected European BOSS and Samsonite stores, including Milan San Pietro, Munich, London Oxford Street, Paris Capucines, Madrid and Brussels, as well as on the brands’ respective websites.

Samsonite CEO Kyle Gendreau said, “We are thrilled to collaborate with BOSS as both brands are committed to delivering high-performance products achieved through extensive research, exceptional quality, engineering, and craftsmanship.”
