Forestis Launches Odles Lodge on the Plose Mountain in South Tyrol

In the tranquil perfection of South Tyrol, Forestis has opened four adult-only luxury lodges. The Odles Lodge Spa is an ultra-luxurious retreat on the southern side of Plose Mountain, which offers guests stunning scenery, fresh air and a break from a fast-paced world.

Forestis, the five-star retreat, has revealed their new Odles Lodge, a premium adults-only chalet, this June. A few kilometres from the main facility, Odles consists of four distinct lodges designed by Armin Sader of Assaggio Architects.

Built to the highest standards using local spruce and Swiss stone, an atmosphere of calm has been created. All four lodges have panoramic views of the Dolomites.

The incredible views from one of the lodges

Odles Lodge has been designed for guests who are seeking a longer stay. To make things simpler, local delights are supplied in the lodge, including homemade jams, smoked fish, smoked hams and fresh dairy products. All of the food produce is locally sourced, and every morning, guests can tuck into a fresh mountain breakfast.

Odles Lodge also has a Spa, which is exclusive for guests staying at the four lodges, with a communal swimming pool, sauna, and steam room. In addition to this, there is the main Spa at Forestis, where a range of treatments are available.

Teresa Unterthiner, Owner of Forestis & Odles Lodge, said, “We are thrilled to welcome guests to Odles Lodge and share the unparalleled beauty of the Dolomites with them. With a more remote location and higher privacy, we are excited for guests to get even closer to nature”.

Forestis is all about sustainability, which remains at the core of Odles Lodge’s ethos. Environmentally conscious initiatives are plentiful and have been implemented. The energy-efficient design elements include using locally sourced materials and 100% renewable energy produced by the lodge’s plant and wood heating system.

Odles Lodge is ideal for couples, solo travellers, or groups of friends. Whether you seek relaxation, adventure or a blend of both, Odles Lodge provides the perfect base to live independently in the middle of the forest and appreciate the natural wonders that surround it.

All lodges have a satellite TV, Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom and many amenities.

Forestis is in South Tyrol on the Southern slope of the Plose mountain at 1800 metres above sea level. The facility is a conceptual 5-star mountain retreat that opened on 20 July 2020.

It is the vision of owners Stefan Hinteregger and Teresa Unterthiner, and they invite you to reconnect with your body and soul and embrace nature, surrounded by the four elements of pristine mountain air, pure spring water, countless hours of sunshine and a mild climate.

In addition, the company adopts CO2-neutral construction within the natural environment, and energy is 100% renewable. Sixty-two luxury suites have stunning views of the massif of the UNESCO world heritage Dolomites, and the retreat offers an extensive range of year-round wellness packages and curated experiences.

You can ski in and ski out and then use the Forestis Spa with its concept following the principle of four native trees: mountain pine, spruce, larch and Swiss pine. Roland Lamprecht, Head Chef, will introduce ‘Forest Cuisine’, raising variety, naturalness and authenticity.
