Taking a Break with the Philips LatteGo Coffee Machine

Ong Chin Huat takes a well-earned break which fortunately proved an ideal time to experience a creamy and frothy cappuccino brewed by the new LatteGo Coffee Machine by Philips.

Designed in Italy and ten years in the making, appliance giant Philips has jumped head-first into the caffeine game by launching a range of consumer-focused coffee machines which are sure to find a place in the hearts of all coffee lovers.

The new Philips coffee machines provide the opportunity to enjoy freshly brewed café-style coffee beverages from the comforts of your own home or office.

Although it has been said many times, the new Philips machines could be the ones to revolutionise coffee making with their technological breakthroughs and industry-first innovations.

Coffee connoisseurs can choose from five different models, namely the top-of-the-line Saeco PicoBaristo, the Philips 3200 Series LatteGo, the Philips 5000 Series LatteGo, the Philips 2200 Series and the Philips 3100 Series.

In the Philips 3200 Series LatteGo, five unique beverage options are available

Incorporating professional-grade results into every single cup, intelligent and intuitive functions make brewing any cup of coffee hassle-free, with cleaning and maintenance of the coffee machines a breeze.

For the fully automated Philips 3200 Series LatteGo, five unique beverage options are available via the touch of a button – Espresso, Black Coffee, Americano, Cappuccino and Latte Macchiato.

High-tech, durable ceramic grinders enable up to 20,000 cups of coffee across 12 grind settings, from ultra-fine powder to coarse grindings. A unique function called the Aroma Seal protects the coffee beans and helps preserve their original aroma.

Additionally, the LatteGo 3200 model has an Aroma Extract system, which balances the optimum brewing temperature and aroma extraction by keeping the water temperature between 90 and 98˚C while regulating the water flow rate.

Further personalisation allows the drinker to adjust the aroma strength and quantity through its easy-to-use and intuitive touchscreen user interface.

How to fill a Philips LatteGo Coffee Machine

The signature two-part ‘no tubes’ LatteGo milk system mixes milk with air at the optimum temperature for a silky smooth froth, so essential for that perfect cup of Cappuccino.

Without any tubes or hidden parts, the entire system can be cleaned in as little as 15 seconds under running water or in a dishwasher.

Also featuring a patented AquaClean water filter specially developed by Philips, the LatteGo 3200 model doesn’t need to be descaled until 5,000 cups of coffee have been consumed as a fully removable brew group allows easy cleaning.

Philips LatteGo Coffee Machine launch in Malaysia

“Coffee making is an art, but science is undeniable,” says Muhammad Ali Jaleel, the Country Manager of Philips Malaysia, at the launch of these coffee machines.

“The breakthrough innovation in our range of machines enables consumers to enjoy fresh, café-style coffees at the touch of a button around the clock without ever leaving their home. It also addresses consumer pain points of making cleaning and maintenance a hassle-free experience, thus making artisanal coffee more accessible to everyone.”
