Premium Swiss running brand On and tennis legend Roger Federer, have unveiled THE ROGER Centre Court 0-Series. This tennis-inspired trainer is the latest addition to the On family and the first product to come out of the partnership between On and Federer.
If there is one sportsman in the world who defines coolness and style above all others, it’s the Swiss tennis maestro Roger Federer. Whether it’s playing a shot on the court or being interviewed in a studio, he does it in a way that one else seems able to replicate. Not wanting to keep all his legendary-style to himself, he’s allowing the public to experience some ‘Federer Coolness’ with THE ROGER Centre Court trainers.
The inspired tennis trainer focuses on comfort and is designed to be worn all day. It features On’s award-winning CloudTec sole, which provides soft landings and explosive take-offs, and a Speedboard to promote agile movement. In addition, an ultra-soft sock-construction delivers distraction-free comfort and ventilation.
Federer explains: “The minimalist design and easy comfort of On’s shoes had me hooked years ago. I wanted to infuse the tennis sneaker with the same lightness, comfort and agility for every day.”
“I love working with the On team, using my knowledge of performance footwear and personal interest in fashion to contribute to product development. I’m proud to be a part of the creation of THE ROGER, which is the most comfortable tennis-inspired sneaker you will ever wear,” he adds.
To celebrate its launch, the 0-Series of THE ROGER Centre Court will be numbered individually, with just 1,000 pairs to be released. These ultra-limited edition shoes will feature special black stitching, a black Speedboard and a personal message from Roger himself.
THE ROGER was crafted with the Swiss mountains and sustainability in mind. The trainer is crafted from vegan leather which has around 30% of the carbon footprint of animal leather, and has been designed for lightness to reduce material consumption.
“We’re super excited to be releasing THE ROGER Centre Court,” says On Co-Founder David Allemann. “Combining On’s years of performance design with our new teammate’s contribution has produced an awesome shoe – and we’ve had a lot of fun doing it.”

THE ROGER Centre Court 0-Series will be released through a draw at on-running.com/theroger on July 6th and in-store exclusively at Dover Street Market worldwide. Sign-ups for the draw will begin on July 6th, 2020 at 10:20 am CEST and will close on July 8th, 2020 at 10:01 am CEST.
