Kensington Place brings the Best of British to West London this Summer with the launch of The Great Chase, a pop-up bar in collaboration with Chase Distillery
From 4th August to 3rd September the private dining room will be transformed into a quintessentially British lounge bar, decorated with union jacks and products from the Chase Distillery range.
The Great Chase bar will feature a drinks list championing Chase Distillery, with eight cocktails with a British twist available, created collaboratively with the teams from Kensington Place and Chase. Chase bring their signature pour, and the namesake for the pop-up; The Great Chase (Chase potato vodka, Chase elderflower liqueur, soda water and lemon juice). The Mar-tea-ni (Chase rhubarb vodka, Chase elderflower liqueur, Earl Grey tea, elderflower cordial, rhubarb bitters) will be playfully presented in a cup and saucer, while the Smoky Mary (Chase smoked vodka, tomato juice, Worcestershire sauce, tabasco, celery salt) gives an English Oak twist invocative of the British BBQ to the classic.
The team at Kensington Place have created a bar menu inspired by the seaside to complement the drinks. Traditional British seafood snacks will feature, such as potted brown shrimp, potted Devon crab and prawns with Marie Rose sauce, and the classic raspberry trifle for a sweet treat.
The pop-up will incorporate a series of cocktail masterclasses hosted by Chase, allowing up to 25 guests to meet the makers and learn how to mix the perfect drink. The first class will take place on Thursday 4th August from 7pm, priced at £20 per person. Additional classes will include GB&T on 18th August, Smoky Mary on 4th September and Mar-TEA-ni making on 15th September.
