The nigh-on 180-year-old Brown’s Hotel in London’s Mayfair, adds two new ‘Brown’s Suites’ designed by Olga Polizzi, Director of Design for Rocco Forte Hotels.
Olga has used her inimitable taste to bring together pieces from renowned British designers and artisans to create a wonderful sense of place within the suites; an idea which is intrinsic to the Rocco Forte Hotels ethos.
Statement pieces of furniture by Julian Chichester are offset by soft fabrics and furnishings from Bernard Thorp and Sanderson. The contemporary Lewis & Wood treescape wallpaper and pops of vibrant colour lend an air of fun to these stylish new one bedroom, two bathroom suites.
The two new ‘Brown’s Suites’ have oak wood flooring throughout, benefit from plenty of natural daylight and a double door opening between the bedroom and sitting room resulting in a spacious apartment feel. The doors into the bedroom can be closed leaving the sitting room with its relaxed seating area, desk and a small library to be used as a reception room for visitors.
The first bathroom off the entrance of the suite features Bisazza mosaics and a marble vanity unit, while the second is of bush-hammered limestone, and is situated beyond the bedroom with a capacious bath and walk-in shower. Brown’s Suites also benefit from a large walk-in wardrobe.
