Borgo San Vincenzo, Tuscany’s newest luxury boutique hotel, invites guests to experience the region’s legacy of warm hospitality and culinary excellence via a delightful array of reimagined Tuscan classics, sophisticated wine experiences and artisanal craft cocktails designed by its talented culinary team.

Nestled in the serene countryside of Southern Tuscany, Borgo San Vincenzo is located within the prestigious Vino Nobile vineyards in Montepulciano, Italy. This region is renowned for its deep-rooted winemaking traditions, embracing a genuine approach with small-scale local producers who meticulously craft high-quality products using time-honoured methods passed down through generations.

“At Borgo San Vincenzo, we want guests to connect meaningfully and authentically to one of the world’s most storied destinations and to savour the flavours of locally crafted products, skillfully handmade by our neighbouring artisans, all within the backdrop of our stunning surroundings,” said Shannon Kircher, one of the founders of Borgo San Vincenzo.

Tuscan Cuisine with a Twist
At Il Ciuchino, the restaurant at Borgo San Vincenzo, executive chef Giulio Lombardelli delights guests with a delectable array of dishes that celebrate Tuscan inputs with an international twist.

The dishes bring Tuscan classics to life and embrace the philosophy of seasonal dining, highlighting fresh, high-quality natural ingredients sourced from local and small producers.

Among the culinary highlights is the revered Tuscan BBQ (above), a beloved local favourite that showcases local meats grilled to perfection in a traditional brick oven.

The Standout Bar
At the core of the hotel lies The Flying Monk Bar, a vibrant place where guests can discover an expanding collection of wines, indulge in expertly crafted timeless classics, and seasonal craft cocktails meticulously designed by mixologist and food & beverage director Francesco “Franky” Bonauguro.

Wine Tasting Experiences & Mixology Workshops
Whether an aspiring wine enthusiast or an experienced connoisseur seeking to deepen their knowledge, Borgo San Vincenzo offers an array of sophisticated and fun experiences that celebrate the region’s finest wines through sommelier-guided wine tastings.

An exclusive monthly culinary event, the Winemakers’ Dinner Series, allows guests to enjoy carefully curated multi-course dinners paired with wines from independent producers across the Tuscan region. Moreover, wine enthusiasts are also invited to participate in the hotel’s newly announced Italian Wine Essentials program.

The immersive 5-day wine education experience is held twice per year in collaboration with the esteemed Wine Scholar Guild, the leading provider of specialised certification programs on French, Italian and Spanish wines. The program is limited to a small number of guests and offers a comprehensive exploration of Italian wines.
