Chopard - Another of the big winners at the Academy Awards 2014

The world’s most famous annual awards ceremony has just passed, most of the betting favourites did indeed pick up their expected coveted golden statue.

Some winners clasped the coveted award closely to their chests having realised a lifelong dream, no doubt others would have maintained their ‘cool’ persona and acted as if it means much less to them and is an acknowledgment that their ‘Art’ is being recognized or the award is for the story and not for them.

As the invitees arrived at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood decked out in beautiful clothing provided by the world greatest fashion designers, walking upon the hallowed red carpet to the flashes of a thousand cameras and the screams of adoring fans. It wasn’t the celebrities and their clothing that glittered and glowed, it was the watches and jewellery that they wore. And in the watch and jewellery stakes, it was Chopard that was one of the big winners on the night with some of the most high-profile attendees choosing the Swiss-based luxury brand.
