With a family tradition of jewellery going back more than five decades, brother Eduardo, Emerson and Rodrigo Brüner created the Brumani brand in 2005. In just a few years the brand has established itself as a celebrity favourite with stars such as Jennifer Lopez, Penelope Cruz, Katy Perry and Emily Blunt among fans of their collections.
For Spring/Summer 2014, Brumani has added some new pieces that showcase the Brazilian Way of Life via personality, movement, femininity and colour.
A large proportion of the stones used with Brumani’s jewellery are sourced from mines in Brazil and as expected, only the finest of these stones are chosen for the high-end jewelled pieces. The stones are cut and polished to the highest standard that give sthe jewellery a special liminosity.
There are two collections we are going to look at. The first is the Boabab Collection that is exotic and vibrant in its design capturing the essence of the Brazilian brand beautifully and is inspired by the colours surrounding the native African Baobab tree. Bangles, earrings and pendants are set with cabochon cuts of aquamarine and ruby contrasted with faceted rose tourmaline and brown diamonds set in 18k yellow gold.
The other is Looping Shine, this collection is an intertwining of loops representing the relationships, experiences and friendships that we experience during our lives. Looping Shine is favoured by glamourous stars such as Jennifer Lopez, it is graceful and elegant in its design. The pendants, earrings and rings combine soft pink gold links with bright translucent quartz and diamonds.
