Forty-Five in LANDMARK will be showcasing a blend of traditional and contemporary flavours this February, with spectacular menus at The Merchants, Kaen Teppanyaki and Cristal Room by Anne-Sophie Pic to honour and celebrate the Chinese New Year and Valentine’s Day.

From gourmet Chinese New Year puddings to exquisitely crafted Valentine’s Day experiences, these renowned restaurants inside Forty-Five promise unforgettable culinary celebrations. Below, we look at what each will be offering.

Cristal Room by Anne-Sophie Pic – French Flair
Cristal Room by Anne-Sophie Pic (lead image) presents an unparalleled fusion of elegance, French gastronomy, and crystal luxury.

As Valentine’s Day approaches, the restaurant is poised to enchant diners with an exclusive 8-course celebration menu, priced at HK$4,888 + 10% per guest, crafted by the world-renowned, multi-Michelin-starred chef Anne-Sophie Pic, in collaboration with her Chef de Cuisine, Marc Mantovani.

For those seeking an exclusive experience, the intimate and one-of-a-kind option of Cristal Room’s soon-to-open private dining room under the Baccarat “Zenith Flou” chandelier designed by Philippe Starck is available.

The special 8-course dinner package also includes custom engraved crystal glassware from Baccarat, creating an unforgettable moment to be cherished. It is priced at HK$18,888 + 10% per couple and has been designed to elevate the Valentine’s Day celebration with unparalleled luxury and intimacy.


The Merchants – Shanghainese Flair

The Merchants, the distinguished Michelin-recommended Shanghainese restaurant led by Executive Chef Chen Tian Long, invites guests to savour the essence of the Chinese New Year with an exclusive menu of chef’s specials available from 1st February to 24th February.

Highlights include Braised Sea Cucumber with Dried Shrimp Roe and Scallion (HK$628 per person), Sichuan Hot and Spicy Pork Tongue (HK$128), Drunken Pork Knuckle (HK$148), Stir-Fried Rice Cakes with Winter Bamboo Shoots and Rosette Bok Choy (HK$198), and a delightful Asian Pear Tea with Malva Nut (HK$78), among others. These special dishes offer a taste of tradition and luxury, allowing guests to revel in the festive spirit of the Chinese New Year.

To mark the second official day of the Year of the Dragon on 11th February, The Merchants will also be offering a special Lunar New Year fireworks dinner menu priced at HK$1,388+10% per guest with live fireworks from 8 pm onwards.

This exclusive menu is designed to complement the magnificent fireworks display that is set to light up Hong Kong’s skyline. The dishes include Traditional Deep-Fried Pomfret in Sweet Soy Sauce, Stir-fried Australian Lobster with Mild Spicy Sauce, The Merchants’ signature Fried Rice Abalone, Sea Cucumber, Bottarga and Shrimp.

Furthermore, diners can indulge in a highly limited quantity of traditional Chinese New Year puddings, including:

Kaen Teppanyaki – Japanese Flair
Kaen Teppanyaki, the celebrated Japanese teppanyaki steakhouse led by Head Chef Yoshiyuki Sato, presents three types of 7-course menus to celebrate Chinese New Year.

The Lunar New Year Menu (priced at HK$1,880 per person), Seafood Teppan Menu (priced at HK$1,280 + 10% per person), Premium Wagyu Teppan Menu (priced at HK$1,280 + 10% per person) will be available from 15th January – 29th February.

This exclusive dining experience features an array of culinary delights, including the Scallop Mille Feuille with Caviar, Teppan Steamed King Crab with Morel Mushroom Sauce, Grilled Ozaki Beef, and Josper Grilled Golden Eye Snapper Clay Pot Rice.

For Valentine’s Day, Kaen Teppanyaki offers a romantic 7-course menu at HK$3,880+10% for two guests, featuring tempting dishes such as Black Truffle Chawanmushi, Heart-Shaped Foie Gras Terrine, and Teppan Chocolate Souffle with Vanilla Ice Cream.
