This summer, visitors to Costa Smeralda will have an extra dose of style and sophistication awaiting them. The Riva Lounge has opened on the Porto Cervo waterfront allowing guests to enjoy the exclusive atmosphere at one of the Mediterranean’s most glamorous locations.
Following openings in other internationally renowned yachting locations, the iconic boat-builders have brought its Riva Lounge to Sardinia. The formula is the same as the one behind the other destinations’ success; to bring the design, attention to detail, and heritage of the Riva brand to famous hotels, restaurants, and clubs close to a landing point for yachts.
The furnishings in the Lounge, which officially opened on the 26th of June, such as the Aquarama chairs and tables, have the same features typically found on the boats. The Sardinian edition of the Riva Lounge has been designed to give visitors a first-hand experience of the types of materials, including the chrome, steel and lacquered mahogany which have been used for almost 180 years in the building of the brand’s iconic boats.
The Riva Lounge will allow visitors to relax in a sophisticated atmosphere just a few steps from the yachts moored in the Porto Cervo Marina, which is known as one of the most glamourous in the Mediterranean. To make the experience more memorable, top chefs and bartenders will be on hand to ensure all guests have an unforgettable time.
Talented mixologists will amaze visitors and guests with their skills and spectacular cocktails, which have been coordinated by Edoardo Arcesi and inspired by local excellence and the history of Riva. Edoardo is hugely passionate when it comes to cocktails and mixing drinks and will use the years of experience he’s gathered while working in top bars in London and Rome to enthral the Riva Lounge guests.
The Riva Lounge seeks to offer an original and sophisticated drinking experience, and there will be a wide choice of creative cocktails to enjoy, along with famous labels and a niche selection from Petit Vigneron. To complete what will be a multi-sensory experience, there will be some tasty and creative cuisine on offer made by some of the finest chefs from Costa Smeralda.
Summer 2021 on the Porto Cervo Waterfront will not only be graced by the Riva Lounge. In the magnificent setting of the Porto Vecchio, the Ferretti Group will have their VIP lounge along with the Riva temporary boutique, which will be offering an elite shopping experience characterised by style and glamour.
