St. Petersburg celebrates the opening of a new Rolls-Royce showroom

The Rolls-Royce Wraith debuts for the first time in St. Petersburgh

What better place for a Rolls-Royce showroom than the stunning Russian City of St. Petersburg, a city of culture, beauty, history and of course money.

The new Rolls-Royce dealership is located at the world-famous Astoria Hotel and will be directed by Tatiana Fitzgerald who is also the Managing Director of Rolls‑Royce Motor Cars in Moscow. The spectacular opening of the new showroom was celebrated with customers and friends of the brand.

Torsten Müller-Ötvös, CEO, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, said at the opening event: “St. Petersburg, with its timeless beauty and elegance, forms the ideal backdrop to stage Rolls-Royce motor cars in this outstanding showroom. Our presence here marks an important milestone in the sustained development of Rolls-Royce in Russia.” He continued: “I am particularly pleased to see that a team with a proven track record in the world of super-luxury will take care of the customers in and around St. Petersburg. Tatiana and her team have a wealth of experience and will add great momentum to the sphere of luxury in the Leningrad region.”

Tatiana Fitzgerald commented: “Rolls-Royce has a very rich history in St. Petersburg and is where the first Rolls-Royce touched Russian ground more than 100 years ago. The brand is like no other and stands for success and luxury. We are really excited to write the next chapter of the Rolls-Royce story in Russia.”

It is well known that successful Russians and in particular, those that reside within its two major cities, Moscow and St. Petersburg have a passion for the finer things in life and this new showroom will help serve the Russian demand for the Phantom and Ghost models. The unique Rolls-Royce Bespoke personalisation service will also be available from the new showroom, underlining the further growing popularity of this service among owners in Russia. Nearly all Phantom family models and three out of every four Ghosts contain some element of Bespoke.

The Rolls-Royce Wraith debuts for the first time in St. Petersburgh

The stunning Rolls-Royce Wraith was one of the highlights at the grand opening, the first time that this beautiful piece of automotive art has appeared on the shores of the Baltic Sea. The Wraith combines many of the aspects required by discerning clients – refinement, luxury, power and of course, incredible design styling. The Wraith was a huge hit at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year and will undoubtedly prove as popular in St. Petersburgh.

Last year saw Rolls-Royce set a record for the most number of cars in its 109 history delivered to its customers, this was third year in a row that a record has been set. 3.575 customers in 2012 had the pleasure of taking delivery on one of the most iconic luxury brands in automotive history. Of the brands 19 European dealerships, Russia maintains the company’s best selling market in Continental Europe.
