Twelve months ago, the Döttling Gyrowinder was premiered – a technical watchwinding masterpiece and highly precise instrument that for the first time ever enables completely free rotation of the watch in every direction – including a complete rollover. The design of the first edition Gyrowinder is reminiscent of the rich tradition of nautical navigation instruments. In contrast, while the exterior of the new Döttling Gyrowinder Black likens itself on the world of high-performance motor racing.
Compared to the elegant, highly polished appearance of the classic first edition Döttling Gyrowinder, the black edition is reduced to the essentials, without being plain. Lovingly crafted, highly detailed design ideas round off the motor sports look. For example, the outer ring has been fashioned with slots – just like the brake disks of a Formula 1 racing car. This measure also allows the weight of the Döttling Gyrowinder Black to be reduced. In addition, it has been manufactured with a start-stop engine button, representing another original tribute to the world of motor racing.
The new Döttling Gyrowinder Black is currently in production and will be available in a limited edition of just 50 pieces.
