The Piaget Dancer Line, pièce exceptionnelle Calibre 830P jewellery watch

Piaget Dancer pièce exceptionnelle - The art of shining through timePiaget Dancer pièce exceptionnelle – The art of shining through time

It all began with a collection launched by Piaget in 1986, and 20 years later in 2006 the collection was re-styled. The Dancer collection reflects Piaget’s boundless creative freedom. Its perfectly circular case, pure dial, bezel adorned with double gadroons and bracelet sublimated by links in the shape of dumbbells that make it instantly identifiable. It enshrines the entire history of Piaget, including the milestone introduction in 1957 of the 9P movement, which established the brand’s impressive expertise in the exclusive world of ultra-thin watchmaking. The Dancer line was born from this determination to excel, and the Dancer pièce exceptionnelle is also distinguished by a blend of elegance and accomplishment making it the thinnest exceptionnelle mechanical watch.

Representing a concentrated blend of technical and design feats, the watch pushes the boundaries of exquisite jewellery-making. This entirely gemset model radiates the uniquely graceful aura of an Haute Joaillerie interpretation in white gold. The finesse of its 7.7 mm case and its incomparable bracelet flexibility reflects Piaget’s in house artisan skills. The dial and the screws are hidden with diamonds and only the hand of experienced jewellers, gemsetters and the most trained gaze can guarantee such meticulous craftsmanship. The specific signature design features of the product, including the famous “dumbbell links”, are carefully preserved.

Almost 1,230 special-shaped diamonds adorn this one-of-a-kind creation beating to the rhythm of its mechanical hand-wound 2.5 mm thick Calibre 830P. Conceived, developed and produced by Piaget, this movement is equipped with a large balance with screws and a large barrel ensuring a 72-hour power reserve. Like all movements made by the Manufacture, it is finished in accordance with the brand’s specific finishing codes.

In creating the Dancer pièce exceptionelle watch, Piaget once again demonstrates its savoir faire and that its passion has no limits. Watchmaking and jewellery merge to form a single art – an art that gives life to the precious beauty of an enchanting universe.
